What began as a history major capstone at USU has now transitioned into a passion project and overgrown hobby. This is the largest wooden-axled trebuchet in the Americas and is based on real medieval sources. We shoot the machine several times a year and everyone is invited to see history in action! We are now located in Richmond, UT on your way to the Richmond shooting range.
The machine is operational and we are always open to collaborations, sponsored events, or other opportunities. Feel free to reach out! Our biggest limitation is the weather, we like to avoid shooting in high winds, precipitation, or in the mud. The machine is most active in summer and fall.
To volunteer to help maintain and crew the machine, please join our email list below and you will be made aware of all upcoming events!
